It has always been about the letters. When I was young I would find any excuse to draw and write on things. My parents are still finding objects in their home that are littered with Melissa goodness. So why Liss Tiss? When I was little my Father called me Liss Tiss Badiss With A Great Big Kiss. Being one of my biggest creative advocates, I saw it only fitting to honor the name, and him in my personal creative endeavors. Since graduating from Utah State University with a degree in Graphic Design and Printmaking I have been pursuing ways to express my creativity. I love hand lettering, calligraphy, and most recently chalk lettering. I live with my Brilliant Husband, Steve who is a PHD student at Purdue University. We just welcomed our first baby Harper Ann into our family. We are in love with her chubby cheeks. Our two adopted fur children, Pixel Pup and Kitty, aka Olive are adjusting well to our little addition. I am excited to share a little piece of my creative life with you.
